5 janvier Christmas and the New YearSorry I haven't blogged in awhile, I've been so busy lately. Christmas was a lot of fun. I'm so sad it's over. On Christmas Eve we went to Mama Joan and Papa Wil's. We ate and played games. On Christmas morning we opened presents and then all of the family came over for Christmas breakfast. Later even more people came over for Christmas dinner. Janelle made this incredible ham (that is my favorite part of Christmas dinner). After that we just hung out. Josh played his guitar and Julie played her piano. Then we started Harry Potter 5. We didn't get to finish it though. I can't believeit is all ready the new year. I have two things I would like to accomplish this year and they are, read my bible through, and get alot better at vibrato (i probably spelt that wrong). I hope this year will be really good for everyone.
Chels 15 décembre 10 Days Until ChristmasI can't believe there is only ten more days until Christmas. I hate it when it goes by so fast. I want at least another month of Christmas music. I recently bought the "Elf" soundtrack. It is really good. Last Thursday we had our family November birthdays (one month late). We were waiting for Julie to come back from Europe, but she ended up not being there anyway. This past Thursday the school kids went caroling at the church. It was pretty interesting when we started singing "Frosty the Snowman" and no one knew the words. It was really funny. Well I'm tired so thats all I have for tonight.
Chels 1 décembre Nickel Creek ConcertLast night Me, Julie, Jami, Leslie, Dustin, Brandon, Josh, and Shanna went to the "Farewell for Now" Nickel Creek concert. It was so awesome. Sarah Watkins is an amazing violinist. She totally inspired me. Chris Thile is incredible on the mandolin. Shawn Watkins is cool too, but I wouldn't go to one of his concerts by himself. My favorite song is "This Side". The beginning is so peaceful. The concert started at 8:00 and didn't end until almost 11:00. It didn't feel that long at all. Dustin got a little bored towards the end. Afterwards we went to steak and shake and it was like midnight so all of the girls had the giggles. We were throwing paper airplanes, and one hit some lady at the table beside us. The ride home was so fun. Well I am extremely tired, and I have to wake up early for the parade. I will do the 7 things I love about Christmas really fast.
1. Honey Baked Ham
2. Being with my family.
3. Waking up and going in Jul's room to wait for the fam to get settled. Then Shawn comes in with the video camera and we say, "Christmas Day Snow White. We say it every year.
4. All of the smells
5. Poppers (the things you pull and they pop and a surprise comes out of them)
6. The holiday creamers (except eggnog)
7. Sledding

Chels 24 novembre ThanksgivingI can't believe Thanksgiving is over. I usually have thanksgiving at my grandparents house, but this year everyone was going with their other family. It would have just been me, my Mom, Granny, Papa Joel and Grandma Megaw. My mom ended up having to work, so we went to Bob and Martha's. We had the best meal. My favorite part of the meal was the mashed potatoes. I ate so much. Then after our stomachs settled a little, me, Julie, Josh, and Tamara played Dance Dance Revolution. After that we all played 80's trivia pursuit. I didn't answser one question right. Then I went home and went to bed around 12:30.
I woke up at 5:15 to go shopping with Bonnie and her mom friday morning. First we went to Old Navy, and the lines were all the way back to the dressing room. We decided to just leave there and go to Goody's. We found some things and we had to wait in line for 45 minutes. After that we went to target and the mall. Then we went home. Me and Bonnie went and got lunch at Taco Bell, and then went to the coffee shop. I was so tired. I came home and watched the Polar Express with Zachary. I love that movie.
Last night Janie spent the night with me and we were watching The Lake House. I had all ready seen it so I told Janie to wake me up in 20 minutes, because I was really tired. She couldn't wake me up, because I was in such a deep sleep. This morning we decided to go on the boat. It was absolutely freezing. We turned over the boat and there were three big spiders. We screamed and ran. I had alot of fun.
Chels 20 novembre Seven Random Facts1. I'm the worst speller in the world.
2. I have restless leg syndrome.
3. I love chocolate.
4. I love to cook.
5. I have a sticky hand phobia. I can't stand it. I really freak out.
6. I love pillows.
7. My favorite number is 1,000,987. I don't know why, but I have always remembered that number.
I tag Shawn, Julie, and Olivia. 14 novembre HelloI'm going to try to do this again, and hopefully I will keep it up. I'm warning you all I am the worst speller. Tomorrow Julie comes home. YAY!! I'm so excited. I miss having someone to laugh with in the middle of the night. Megan and I are going to a violinist and a cellist's dress rehersal tomorrow. Our violin teacher reserved us seats. It sounds really cool.

Today I was watching Zach and I looked out the window and it was like a blizzard of falling leaves. I love fall. When I do school and Janelle works in the office we listen to Christmas music. This year has gone by way to fast. It seems like it was just Christmas. At my new house we have bushes and I think I might put lights on them. I've always wanted to do that, but we couldn't at the apartments. I'm so happy that we finally got to move. That's about all I have for tonight.
